Courage ~

A sentinel is brave in will and deed. A sentinel accepts that personal sacrifices must be made and faces hardship without complaint. Defeat is part of life. Not all battles can be won. A sentinel knows this and need not suicide themselves in defeat. However a sentinel will never retreat to save themselves whilst leaving others to perish. Nor will a sentinel escape from a losing battle using dishonorable means.

Faith ~

Belief in our cause is a tower of strength for a sentinel. The knowledge that our cause is just gives a sentinel the strength to persevere where others falter.

Franchise ~

A sentinel is an example for all. A sentinel carries themselves with nobility at all times. To do otherwise brings shame to themselves, their family and the order.

Humility ~

A sentinel does not seek personal glory. Praise another’s valorous deeds not your own. All glory for the order and the cause.

Justice ~

He who walks the path of the righteous must be a seeker of truth as well. When justice is dealt out remember that mercy can often bring greater results then punishment.

Largesse ~

Generosity is a virtue. Reward not another’s greed nor your own. Aid those in need as your circumstances allow.

Loyalty ~

Unwavering commitment to the order, and to its ideals. Without this there is nothing.

Nobility ~

     A sentinel is a seeker of spiritual perfection. Kindness, sincerity and courtesy can not be overlooked. Although perfection can never be attained it is the struggle that is important. Through this we can influence and strengthen those around us.

Prowess ~

Seek excellence in all endeavors. Only through strength can we prevail. The mind and body are our weapons and both must be tempered.
