Q: What's the point?
A: The purpose of this page is to provide a comprehensive guide to the weapons of Elanthia. A reference source for all. It is not an auction list.
Q: What type of weapons do you want to hear about?
A: I am currently interested in hearing about merchant bought weapons and invasion weapons. What I am not interested in are altered, unique, or totally standard weapons (such as an imflass broadsword). Please read the submission guidelines below.
Q: You are missing many weapons!
A: Yes I know and I want to list them all but it does take a lot of time and I certainly do not own each and every weapon that exists. I desperately need your help. If you own a weapon that is not listed please read the submission guidelines and help me out!

A: If you are having a problem please email me with any needed fixes. If you are having trouble seeing some text make sure your browser preferences are not set to override the font colors provided by the page.
Q: I see no mention of minuses to ambush rt in your listings!?
A: Claims of minuses to ambush rt are mostly total nonsense IMHO. There may indeed be some weapons out there that have this ability but I have yet to see one. Most folks believe in this theory because of simple ignorance. For example the average OHE ambusher typically uses a broadsword, longsword or falchion. A new merchant comes to town and he buys a nifty long-knife or stiletto. Now normally his ambush rt is 8 seconds with his old weapon. So he stows his falchion and leaps out with the long-knife and his rt is 6 seconds! So therefore he decides the long-knife has some sort of magical -2 to ambush rt. What he doesn't understand is that the long-knife is a shortsword based weapon and shortswords always swing faster then falchions. So if he were to pick up and ambush with a kobold's shortsword he would find that his rt with that weapon is 6 seconds as well. The weapon gives a shorter rt because it's a smaller weapon and all such smaller weapons will give him less rt. The long-knife has no additional magical speed bonuses. That said if you have a magical weapon that swings faster then the standard weapon it is based on feel free to prove me wrong.
Q: The information you have is wrong! Or I want to offer an opinion or suggestion about this site.
A: Since I must rely on other people's information about their weapons mistakes can happen. If you see something incorrect I want to hear from you. Please email me with your information or suggestions. Please include proof of any errors, be as thorough as possible. Email that simply tells me that I'm wrong or calls me an idiot is of no value.
Q: What about crit and damage weighting?
A: I am now including the warrior's assessment of weighting when I receive such.
Submission guidelines
To submit a weapon please follow these instructions as best you can.
- Take the weapon to the AI and use the blue crystal there. Copy the information received from the crystal in full and include it in your email.
- In your email an example of you swinging the weapon would be helpful. If the weapon flares (fire, cold, etc.) include an example of this. Please include information on the exact armor type the weapon was swung at so that I may examine the AvD.
- If the weapon has a non-standard description please detail what type of weapon base and to which category your weapon belongs. For example "an enruned sickle" could be an OHE with an axe base.
- Include the weight of the weapon in pounds and anything else of value.
- When you are sure you've included all information email me.
